No ready-made toppers pretending to be art. The lilies dry overnight, the marigolds go on one bead at a time, and every board is written by hand.

The artist
Hi, I’m Mari
I’m an artist first. In 2020 I swapped some of my canvases for cake, and Cumilla’s Cake is what came out of it. I design every order myself, and the piping, painting and lettering are done by my own hands.
I love a brief with feelings in it: who it’s for, what they love, the joke only the two of you get. Bring me that and a date, and I’ll take care of the pretty part.

How much does a custom cake cost?
It depends on the size, the shape and how much hand-work goes in. A sugar lily or a holud illustration takes hours. Send me your idea and I’ll give you an exact price, no guessing.
Can you make a cake I saw on Pinterest?
Send it! I’ll use it as the starting point and make it in my own style with your colours and your words, so it ends up yours, not a copy.
Can you write in Bangla on the cake?
Yes. Names, wishes and whole lines in Bangla or English, piped by hand. Please double-check the spelling in your message, because I write exactly what you send.
What sizes do you make?
Cakes are sized by the pound. As a rough guide, 1 pound serves about 6–8 people. I make everything from small single cakes to two- and three-tier cakes for big parties.
How should I keep my cake until the party?
Ask Mari for storage and serving instructions for your actual recipe and decorations. Keep cakes requiring refrigeration safely cold. Remove non-edible flowers, supports and toppers before serving.
